When I was in 5th grade (1986-ish), my friend who lived 2 blocks away came to school and told me Dan Marino died when he crashed his car into a tree in front on his house. I couldn't believe this, nor could I understand why Dan Marino was driving around a suburban neighborhood outside of Chicago. But I believed it.
It was probably a couple weeks later that I come to find out there was a high school aged kid named Dan Marino who played football for Downers Grove North who died in that tragic crash.
But for me, the Dolphins Dan Marino died that day also.

but i thought that the miami pd said that the taylor thing was "random" shooting...theyve got officers wiggum and fife on the case-np
